This time around Hamade is focusing heavily on his ingredients, local and organic specifically. Local free range chicken from Goffle Farms, nitrate free pepperoni, organic eggs from Big Dog Farm and more. The pizzas will continue to be 10 inch personal sized, with the usual U Pie toppings (vegetables and proteins) though he’s adding a raw seafood bar (clams, oysters) which can also top your pies (though they can also be ordered separately). Pizzas prices will start at $6.95 each. San Marzano tomatoes are being used for the sauce, mozzarella will be made in house. The previous “white” dough will be offered, with an added sourdough as an option. For those interested, there will be a gluten-free crust as well. The other dishes on the menu, dubbed “U Plates”, will host an array of pastas and salads. Everything here will also be customizable, with different sides, toppings and more. The new space is almost directly across the street from before, a 1500 square foot room with approximately 20 seats. They’ll be open 7 days a week, offering dine-in, takeout of course, delivery. Exactly when is this all happening? The best Hamade could offer right now is “soon”. |
