Co-Owners Michael Roosevelt and Blake Crawford poured approximately 8.5 barrels, or 250 gallons of beer between the two days. How many times have you said, “I bet that person would be really cool just to hang out and have a beer with”? If you’re anything like us, probably a lot. Like apple pie and football, beer speaks to something core to our identity. Nowadays, it’s the “Local” that people really resonate with. Whether local arts, local food, or local beer, that sense of community seems to be filling a void.
This is why we created The Alementary.
As avid beer fans and long-time residents of Bergen County, we got tired of hearing about all the great breweries in other places. Bergen county deserves great beer, made right down the road and with inspiration from our local history.
